Johnson Controls Appoints Paul Lambert as Company's Vice President of Quality and Quality Systems - North America

PLYMOUTH, Mich., April 22 -- Johnson Controls recently appointed Paul Lambert as vice president and general manager, Quality and Quality Systems - North America at the company's Automotive Systems Group.

In this position, he is responsible for providing leadership and continued improvements in Johnson Controls' consistent quality execution in manufacturing, advance quality, supply base performance and development, and policies and systems.

Prior to taking on his new position, Lambert served as vice president and general manager of Product and Business Development in Europe, based in Burscheid, Germany. Before that, he was Vice President and General Manager of the company's Ford Premier Automotive Group (PAG) Customer Business Unit. Lambert joined Johnson Controls in 1996 in the United Kingdom as commercial director of Interiors Business - Europe.

In his new post, Lambert will be working in Plymouth, Michigan at the headquarters of the Automotive Systems Group of Johnson Controls.

In 1984, Lambert earned a diploma in industrial engineering from Natal Technikon in Natal, South Africa. He resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
