Tim Longnecker Appointed Chief Executive Officer Of Power Information Network, LLC

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., April 21 -- Tim Longnecker has been named chief executive officer of Power Information Network (PIN), LLC, an affiliate of J.D. Power and Associates.

Longnecker was named to the newly created position by the PIN Board of Managers, and will take over the new post on April 28. Longnecker will be co-located at the J.D. Power and Associates corporate headquarters in Westlake Village, Calif., and at the firm's Troy, Mich., office.

"Tim's diverse experience in information technology and the automotive industry makes him well-positioned to support the growth initiatives of the Power Information Network," said J.D. Power III, chairman of J.D. Power and Associates.

Prior to joining PIN, Longnecker served as a client partner in the automotive business unit of Trilogy Software, Inc. Previously, he was the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Dynamis Solutions, Inc., a global strategy and technology consulting firm. He was a partner at Deloitte Consulting, LLC, and began his career with Ford Motor Credit Company.

Longnecker earned both a bachelor's degree in management information systems, graduating summa cum laude, and an MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan.
