Seed Appointed ArvinMeritor Light Vehicle Systems Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing

TROY, Mich., April 21 -- ArvinMeritor, Inc. announces the appointment of Bob Seed to vice president, Global Sales and Marketing, for the organization's Light Vehicle Systems (LVS) business group. In this position, Seed is responsible for leading worldwide strategic initiatives, assessing and developing new business opportunities, and providing leadership to a customer-aligned, global sales and marketing team.

With more than 30 years of experience, Seed most recently was global vice president of sales, marketing and corporate relations at Lear Corporation. He began his career in 1966, as a buyer with Ford Motor Company, followed by more than 22 years in sales management positions with various automotive suppliers.

Seed holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Penn. He and his family live in Farmington Hills, Mich.
