Viisage Receives One Year $2.9 Million Contract Extension to Produce Secure Digital Drivers' Licenses

    LITTLETON, Mass.--April 21, 2003--Viisage Technology, Inc. , the leader in identity verification, announced today that the company received a contract extension from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles to manufacture secure digital drivers' licenses and state identification documents valued at $2.9 million. With this one-year state contract extension, Viisage Technology is serving a total of 19 U.S. states with drivers' license solutions, facial recognition technology and other secure identity verification products.
