Hot Rod Magazine Publisher Ira Gabriel Speaks
LOS ANGELES, April 21 -- Representing Hot Rod Magazine, the world's largest automotive enthusiast magazine reaching more than 6.2 million per month, and in advance of the Hot Rod Power Tour which rolls to its final stop in Fort Worth on June 6, Los Angeles-based publisher Ira Gabriel will address automotive students at several local schools, April 23 -24, 2003.
As publisher of Hot Rod Gabriel oversees a recognized brand that literally spawned an industry more than 50 years ago and caters to people passionate about their vehicles. In addition to the magazine, Gabriel oversees Hot Rod TV, available nationally to more than 54 million households on Speed Channel, www.hotrod.com, and the annual Hot Rod Power Tour, the nation's largest "road trip" of classic cars, late-model performance vehicles and trucks. Sponsored by Chevrolet, this year's colorful 8-day, 7-city Tour starts on May 30 in Nashville and winds it way through the South before arriving for final festivities in Fort Worth on June 6, 2003.
Ira will address high school and college students about the range of opportunities available to students with automotive interests from enthusiast publishing and journalism to careers on the design and manufacturing sides of the business.
