PPG Directors Set Dividend

    PITTSBURGH--April 17, 2003--The board of directors of PPG Industries today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 43 cents a share, payable June 12 to shareholders of record May 12.
    PPG has paid uninterrupted dividends since 1899.
