Loctite Automotive Names Sampieri Market Development Manager

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 17 -- Loctite Automotive has named Nicholas Sampieri to automotive market development manager. In this role, Sampieri will oversee market development and growth for Loctite Automotive. He will be responsible for cultivating the company's business with automakers and tiered suppliers.

Much of Sampieri's previous experience included various sales and marketing leadership positions in the silicone products division of General Electric Co.

"Nick's experience directly aligns with this new position, providing a solid foundation to continue expanding our automotive market share," said Charles J. "With more than 20 years of automotive background, he brings the necessary knowledge to support our growth initiatives and ultimately raise the bar for our development in the market."

In addition to GE, Sampieri held several vice president posts at Textron Automotive Company, with operating responsibility for worldwide marketing, sales, application development and product engineering. He also created and implemented a minority supplier automotive program in conjunction with key automakers and suppliers while in a senior vice president of automotive business development position at the National City Bank Corporation.

In addition to his extensive career accomplishments, Sampieri is a distinguished member of numerous organizations including the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Marketing and Sales Executives of Detroit, the Michigan Minority Business Development Corporation, the Japan America Society, the French American Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Corporate Growth.

Prior to beginning his career, Sampieri was a U.S. Army rifle team leader in Vietnam in the mid-1960s, and then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in marketing from Rutgers University and a master's degree in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
