CTA Acoustics Honored With Ford's 2002 World Excellence Award
DEARBORN, Mich., April 16 -- CTA Acoustics, Inc. joined the ranks of 41 suppliers from 13 countries last week who were recognized by Ford Motor Company with its World Excellence Awards. CTA Acoustics was presented a Ford Silver World Excellence Award, recognizing the company as one of Ford's top suppliers in the world for 2002 performance.
CTA Acoustics, a full-service supplier of acoustical and thermal insulation products to Ford and others in the automotive industry, received the Silver World Excellence Award in the insulation products category based upon quality, cost and delivery performance in 2002.

There are three types of World Excellence Awards - Gold, Silver and Recognition of Achievement. The Gold and Silver Awards are given to suppliers that excel in quality, delivery and cost; 12 suppliers won the Gold Award, and 16 suppliers won the Silver Award.
CTA Acoustics currently supplies thermal and acoustical insulation products such as fender and hood insulation products and underbody tunnel insulation to Ford for several different vehicle platforms including the F- Series trucks, Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition. These products keep heat where it belongs and minimize occupant noise from the vehicle's engine and mechanical operations.
Based in Madison, Heights, Mich., CTA Acoustics is a privately held, full- service supplier of acoustical and thermal insulation products for the automotive and industrial markets.
