Newly Traded Issue: SFCI Commences Trading

IRVINE, Calif.--April 15, 2003--Surface Tech Inc. (Pink Sheets:SFCI), www.surfacetech.us., is the only company that has a patented method to resurface alloy wheels without removing them from the car (U.S. Patent 6,347,444).
Surface Tech licensed technicians provide cost-saving solutions for more than 4,000 automobile dealership, auto auctions, and car rental companies (Avis, Hertz, National, Enterprise, Budget and Alamo), as well as private owners of new or late model cars.
The company has also developed a process to resurface damaged automotive headlight lenses without removing them from the car, and is anticipating high growth in the newly added "Clear Film" paint and headlight protection system. This proven product is applied to vehicles to protect the front fenders, bumper, hood, and headlight lens covers from getting chipped, pitted or scratched by road debris.
SFCI CEO Chris Pittman stated: "The importance of the patent is crucial in maintaining control of the industry. Experience has proven that other valuable and innovative repair processes such as Paintless Dent Removal have suffered a dramatic decline in economic viability.
"As the original innovator of on-site wheel repair and owner of the patent rights, SFCI will continue to see increasing royalties from the multi-billion dollar a year auto reconditioning industry."
Since its inception in 1998, Surface Tech started licensing its methods to technicians in Southern California. Those techs and others added since have billed more than $2 million in 2001 and more than $5 million in 2002.
The company is focused on aggressive expansion to provide three major services to the auto industry. The market can be expanded to have approximately 1,000 technicians providing the company's services in most automotive dealerships, auctions, rental companies and repair facilities throughout the United States and Canada.
The company is currently adding more than 80 techs that have been using the Patented Process, but were not under a licensing agreement until now. The new total billed under licensing agreements should surpass $7 million in 2003.
