Saturn Electronics & Engineering, Inc. Honored by General Motors as a 2002 Supplier of the Year
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 15 -- Saturn Electronics & Engineering, Inc. (Saturn) was named a General Motors Supplier of the Year for its overall business performance in providing GM with parts and service. The award was given during ceremonies held Saturday, April 12 in Miami at the Miracle Theater. The 2002 award was presented to Saturn for its work and dedication with the GM team to launch the battery cable program, and for Saturn's on-going efforts launching OnStar. This represents Saturn's fifth Supplier of the Year award.

The GM Supplier of the Year award began as a global program in 1992. Award-winners are selected by a global team of executives from purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and logistics who base their decisions on supplier performance in quality, service, technology and price. This year, General Motors honored 70 suppliers for their excellence throughout 2002.
