BMW of North America Signs with Hughes Network Systems to Connect Dealer Network via Satellite

Renewed Contract Underscores HNS Leadership in Automotive Industry Sector

GERMANTOWN, Md., April 15 -- Hughes Network Systems (HNS), the world's leading provider of broadband satellite solutions, announced a new multi-million dollar, three-year contract with BMW of North America, LLC (BMW NA) to provide the leading auto manufacturer & distributor with added value network services.

This agreement is a continuation of an original VSAT contract signed in 1996 which has progressively expanded to meet BMW's growing customer needs to simplify larger file transfers, interactive distance learning, and multicast distribution of sales, service and maintenance related content.
