Beginning with the entire line-up of A4 (A4, A4 Avant, A4 Cabriolet); A6 (A6, A6 Avant); S4 (S4, S4 Avant); and allroad quattro vehicles in June, all Audi vehicles will be pre-wired for SIRIUS, enabling consumers to get a SIRIUS receiver installed at Audi dealers nationwide. The all-aluminum A8L will be available with SIRIUS in Q4 2003, followed by the TT Coupe and TT Roadster. Audi customers who purchase a SIRIUS system will receive at least three months of free service with no activation fee.
"The Audi experience has always been about more than just driving and that's why we know customers will want SIRIUS in their new Audi vehicles," said Doug Wilsterman, SVP OEM, SIRIUS. "SIRIUS is about delivering great, uncompromised music and entertainment in a way that people can't get anywhere else, and we're thrilled that Audi customers will now get to be a part of that unique experience."
SIRIUS is showcasing its premier satellite radio service along with its automotive partners and products at The 2003 New York International Auto Show, Booth #10 in the Crystal Palace, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from April 18-27.
