SATURDAY APRIL 12TH WARM-UP SESSION CANCELLED
RESCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY APRIL 17TH


WEST LEBANON, NY - The winter that would not end has claimed the warm-up 
session scheduled for Saturday April 12th at Lebanon Valley Speedway. The wet 
cold winter has everyone longing for the heat from headers and the smell of 
racing fuel. The forecast for the upcoming week looks more like springtime so 
speedway management has decided to reschedule the warm-up session for 
Thursday April 17th.

Pit gates will open on Thursday April 17th at 5pm with the track open from 
6pm till 8pm for practice. Spectators will be admitted FREE to the 
grandstands and Admission to the pits will be $10. Membership licenses will 
be available for purchase.

Last fall new clay was added to the racing surface and work was completed 
preparing the track just as the first snowfall came. Snow covered the track 
for the entire winter but when it finally did melt the work done in the fall 
held up and after a couple of days of preparation the track surface was in 
great shape. Then winter reappeared! The track should be in great shape for 
the new season and we look forward to getting started soon.

The 2003-racing season at Lebanon Valley Speedway will get rolling on 
Saturday April 19th as L & M Motors and Heavy Hauler present our 51st Grand 
Season Opener. The Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Rookie Pro Stocks and Pure Stocks 
will all be in action along with one Cannonball. Gates open at 5pm with 
racing at 6pm General Admission Adult admission is only $9 with kids under 12 
"Just-A-Buck".

Please make note of our new start time. The Pure Stock races will begin at 
6pm with Modified heats at 7pm. We will continue to bring our great fans the 
best stock car racing anywhere along with the best food! We look forward to
