Miller Industries Towing Equipment Inc. Files Suit Against A & A Truck and Auto Center, Inc.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., April 11 -- Miller Industries, Inc. today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Miller Industries Towing Equipment Inc., filed suit today in a federal court in Charlotte, North Carolina against a competitor which is accused of copying the appearance and design of its highly successful Vulcan(R) Intruder 810 self-loading towing and recovery product.

Named in the suit is A & A Truck and Auto Center, Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina ("AATAC"). AATAC is accused of federal and state unfair competition, trade dress infringement, federal trade dress dilution and violations of North Carolina state statutes.

The Company noted that the lawsuit was filed only after attempts to resolve this dispute with AATAC amicably had proved to be unsuccessful. The complaint seeks, among other things, compensatory and punitive damages, injunctions and seizure/destruction orders.
