Dealer.com Acquires IsuzuDealers.com

LOS ANGELES, April 10 -- Dealer.com, Inc., One of the nation's fastest growing auto dealer web solution providers recently announced the acquisition of IsuzuDealers.com, the nation's largest SUV dedicated web site. "We saw it as a natural fit," states Mark Bonfigli, President and CEO of Dealer.com. "We already have very successful web solutions for our dealers, now we can provide hundreds of them with a successful lead solution - - one that's specific to their brand."

The IsuzuDealers.com site was begun in 1999 by Octane Marketing, a full service ad agency in Clearwater, Florida specializing in automotive marketing. Their account base included numerous Isuzu dealers and Isuzu ad groups. What followed was a natural progression -- a brand specific, dealer dedicated site for their Isuzu clients to share. What resulted was the largest SUV website in the nation with dealers throughout the US participating. The site features color photos, options, vehicle specs and the ability for the dealers to individually price their inventory.

"We've really enjoyed watching the site grow over the past four years," states Phil Davis, the site's creator. "As marketing people, our focus was to give the auto shopper exactly what they wanted, and to give them lots of choices." According to Davis, the customer is never more than two clicks from a detailed car photo with pricing and the site has upwards of 120,000 unique SUV shoppers per month browsing its online inventory. "The site was designed to help both the dealers and the customers connect." Davis continues. "I envision the customer as someone in their PJs who has just put their kid to bed and has 15 minutes to surf the web before bedtime. That's reality. That's why it works." Terms of the deal were not disclosed but Bonfigli says "the acquisition will include a multitude of additional branded website domains that could be used in a similar manner for almost every franchise auto make available."

Dealer.com has plans to enhance the site and offer even more tools and features as well as different manufacturer solutions in the future to make the car buying process easier and more powerful for dealers and customers alike. "We will do for the public what we've been able to do for our dealers and their websites, so it should be a great experience for everyone."
