Stu Hayner Personal Appearance at “Thursday Thunder on Pine”
Pre-race festivities get underway at Long Beach

Detroit – April 9, 2003 – Kicking off the weekend’s events for round 2
of the Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Tires Cup at the Long Beach
Grand Prix, Stu Hayner, driver of the #2 Trenton Forging/GMAC
Commercial Finance Corvette, will make a personal appearance at
“Thursday Thunder on Pine.” Fellow Trans-Am Series drivers, Scott
Pruett, Paul Gentilozzi, Johnny Miller and Mike Lewis, will join Hayner
for the special event.

Besides the stars, they’ll have the cars. The ‘other’ big attraction at
“Thursday Thunder on Pine” will be the world famous Trans-Am Series
muscle. Hayner’s #2 Trenton Forging/GMAC Commercial Finance Corvette
will be on display along with the Jaguars of Pruett, Gentilozzi and
Lewis.

“This is the kind of thing that makes the street races so much fun,”
remarked Hayner. “Trans-Am fans are so appreciative of our time and it
gives us the opportunity to let them know how much we appreciate their
support. It also promotes some good banter among the drivers too. We
get so busy… we rarely get time to see each other in a relaxed setting.
I look forward to it.”

Hayner’s hometown is just up the road in Yorba Linda. His appearances
here always bring out a lot of local support. In fact, Hayner will
carry local Chevrolet dealer, Tom Bell Chevrolet, on the back of the #2
Corvette. Needless to say, Hayner is a crowd favorite at Long Beach.

“Thursday Thunder on Pine” is being staged by the Downtown Long Beach
Associates as part of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach weekend.
Drivers are scheduled to sign autographs between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30
p.m. The Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Cup race will run Sunday,
April 13 and will air the same day at 9 p.m. EST on PEE.

Trenton Forging, in association with Revolution Motorsports, competes
as part of the Trans-Am Series for the BF Goodrich Tires Cup. All
events are nationally televised on PEE. The Trans-Am Series is the
oldest form of American sports car racing.
