BNA Smart Payment Systems Certifies Auto Rental Application with Global Payments

    TORONTO--April 8, 2003--BNA Smart Payment Systems announces that its Global East Auto Rental application is now certified for use on the Global Payments Atlanta platform.
    The application runs on the Banksys C-ZAM terminal. (BNA is the exclusive North American distributor of the terminal.) The application processes credit, debit and check transactions. The most important feature of the application is that it minimizes the possibility of an interchange downgrade for auto rental transactions. This feature lowers the cost of processing these types of transactions for the rental agency.

This feature helps speed renters on their way. The Global East Auto Rental application is also smart card ready -- as are all applications developed on the Banksys C-ZAM terminal.
