DURA Automotive Announces Appointment of New Vice President and Corporate Controller

    ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.--April 8, 2003--DURA Automotive Systems, Inc. , announced today that Keith R. Marchiando has joined the company as Vice President and Corporate Controller. Marchiando comes to DURA from Dow Automotive in Auburn Hills, Mich., where he held the position of Global Finance Director.
    Marchiando will have primary responsibility for directing DURA's global strategic planning, forecasting and business reporting processes.
    "Keith's expertise at instituting strong analytical practices together with his international finance experience will be a valued addition to the DURA team," said David Bovee, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
    As a member of the executive management team at Dow Automotive, Marchiando had finance responsibility for annual revenues of $1.3 billion and $1 billion in assets. He also served on the Board of Directors of several Dow Automotive subsidiaries and joint ventures in Europe, North and South America. Prior to joining Dow Automotive, Marchiando held several positions at Ford Motor Company including: Vehicle Line Finance Manager, Vehicle Product Development; Finance Manager, Product Strategy Office; and Controller, Aftermarket Glass.
    Marchiando, 40, earned a Master of Business Administration degree at Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University.
