Westcorp to Webcast Analyst Conference Call on First Quarter Earnings Results

    IRVINE, Calif.--April 7, 2003--Westcorp will release its first quarter earnings results on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 after the NYSE stock exchange closes. Tom Wolfe, president and Lee Whatcott, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will host a webcast conference call for analysts and investors at 9 a.m. (PDT) on Thursday, April 24, 2003.
    As part of this conference call, Westcorp management will discuss, at greater length, earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2003.
