ADP Team Truck Introduces IP Telephony; ADP To Provide Truck Dealers with a Single Unified Network for All Voice and Data Communication

DALLAS--April 7, 2003--ADP Team Truck announced today that they have achieved IP Telephony Technology Specialization from Cisco Systems, Inc. The Cisco IP Telephony Certification recognizes ADP for achieving the training and knowledge to plan, design, operate and implement Cisco IP Telephony Solutions for heavy-duty truck dealers.
ADP Team Truck is a leader in providing state-of-the-art technology solutions to truck retailers throughout the United States.
"IP Telephony continues to rapidly evolve into a mainstream business solution, representing a tremendous opportunity for our channel partners," said Surinder Brar, senior director of Worldwide Channels Marketing for Cisco Systems. "Cisco IP Telephony specialized companies, such as ADP, will play a pivotal role in helping organizations identify the numerous competitive advantages of a converged IP Telephony Solution."
ADP's IP Telephony Solution combines ADP's data and networking expertise with the Cisco Call Manager phone system to provide dealers with one converged network that will carry all voice and data communications. Dealerships no longer need to maintain a separate, stand-alone phone system. In addition, the combined network provides a single system for all users regardless of location, and allows dealers to cost share features such as voicemail across all locations.
"Integrating voice and data communications allows a dealership to operate more efficiently, reduce network expenses and fully utilize the investment made in creating their network," said Roger Sybrowsky, Vice President / General Manager of ADP Team Truck. "Now the same routers and switches that carry their data traffic can carry their voice traffic as well."
ADP's IP Telephony system features a number of powerful options that can greatly enhance customer satisfaction and employee productivity.

-- Personal assistant application allows users to efficiently manage phone calls based on priority level. For example, customer calls can be directly forwarded to the sales manager's cell phone while lower priority calls can be temporarily forwarded to voicemail.
-- Unified Messaging allows users to handle all forms of messaging, voicemail, fax and e-mail from a single user interface.
-- Phone console features allow users to instantly look up unfamiliar extension numbers and transfer calls instantly with just the click of a mouse.
-- Automatic call distributor functionality delivers calls to dealership employees based on their particular area of expertise. Call Distribution Reports provide information to help management improve call answering efficiency resulting in higher customer satisfaction.

ADP's IP Telephony Solution will be featured in ADP's booth #224 at the upcoming American Truck Dealers (ATD) convention taking place in Philadelphia on April 12-14.
