Delp, Person Named to Vice President Posts at Bosch

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., April 7 -- Robert Bosch Corporation has named two new engineering vice presidents in its automotive Chassis Division.

In his role as vice president, engineering, Larry Delp has responsibility for engineering technical services in the company's component design technical center in South Bend, Ind.

Kurt Person, vice president, engineering, leads Bosch's brake application and systems design work on General Motors programs at the company's North American automotive headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich.

Delp has held a variety of engineering management positions since joining the company in 1983. He graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point, with a bachelor's degree in engineering disciplines and holds a master's degree from the U.S. Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey, Calif.

Person has been with Bosch since 1990 in a variety of engineering management positions. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial technology, automotive design from Northern Michigan University, Marquette.

Bosch designs and produces precision automotive components and systems sold to vehicle and powertrain manufacturers worldwide. These include systems and components for gasoline and diesel injection, airbag components, braking systems, telematics, as well as small motors, electrical and electronic equipment.
