AIIM International Unveils New Name of Flagship Publication - AIIM E-DOC Magazine

    SILVER SPRING, Md.--April 7, 2003--

New Name Reflects Tighter Integration with Association's Mission to
Act as a Neutral and Unbiased Source of Information for Users and
    Suppliers of ECM Technologies

AIIM International, the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) industry association, today announced that it has renamed its monthly publication from e-doc to AIIM E-DOC Magazine.
While the publication has always flourished, there was a disconnect between the existing name of the publication - e-doc - from the Association. The name change reflects a closer connection to AIIM International and its mission of acting as an unbiased source of information for its members, both users and suppliers of ECM technologies.
Written by experienced executives as well as technology experts, AIIM E-DOC Magazine will provide intelligent articles and case studies, thought-provoking columns, insightful application reviews, and lessons learned. Every issue will focus on a particular industry topic and examine it thoroughly.
Also included with each issue is "ECM Insights" - an informative, focused supplement from leaders in the industry with practical benchmarks and case studies from leading vendors. Learn from the experiences of others.
"There has always been a slight bit of confusion in the industry around the magazine's role as it relates to AIIM International," said Bryant Duhon, editor, AIIM E-DOC Magazine. "This name change aligns us squarely with the association; making explicit what has always been a tacit link. AIIM E-DOC Magazine will continue to focus on educating readers about ECM and the technologies that support it."
AIIM International also welcomes the newly appointed AIIM E-DOC Magazine Editorial Advisory Council. The council will assist in the development of the editorial calendar for the magazine, help judge the Best of AIIM Show Awards, and work with the editor to keep the magazine on the pulse of the industry. Inaugural council members include:

-- Christine Adcock, Senior Systems Analyst, BV Solutions Group, Inc.
-- Mike Alsup, President, Gimmal Group
-- Len Asprey, Director, Practical Information Management Solutions Pty Ltd.
-- Jim Minihan, Partner, IMERGE Consulting
-- Rich Payne, Vice President, Technology Group, The South/Financial Group
-- Alan Pelz-Sharpe, Vice President of Consulting, North America, Ovum
