Russia's Largest Auto Maker To Boost Output

MOSCOW April 7, 2003; Dow Jones reported that Russia's largest automaker, OAO Avtovaz , said Monday that it will work four extra days on Saturdays in April to raise output by 5,500 cars to 69,000. Avtovaz reported a 25% drop in output in the first quarter of the year to 136, 824 cars and said it wanted to reverse the trend.
