ABRA Techs Achieve Ultra Tech Status
MINNEAPOLIS--April 3, 2003--ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based damaged vehicle repair company, announced today that all the technicians in their Colorado and Utah markets have achieved Sherwin Williams' Ultra Tech certification. According to Sherwin Williams, ABRA is the first multi-location collision repair company whose technicians have qualified for this select status.In order to receive Ultra Tech certification, a technician must achieve the following: pass the Sherwin Williams' certification class; pass the color adjustment and blending class; and test out of the Sherwin Williams' prep tech class. The technicians also receive I-CAR Gold points for successfully completing these programs.
According to studies conducted by Sherwin Williams, technicians with this certification tend to stay at their place of employment longer, have a higher level of satisfaction with their employers, and have less difficulty with the Sherwin Williams product resulting in higher productivity.
In addition to collision repair, ABRA also specializes in paintless dent removal, and auto glass repair and replacement.
