Haulz-All(TM) Increases Ease, Efficiency of Materials Transport; ASI Technologies' Product Takes the `Grunt' Out of Grunt Work

HORSHAM, Pa., April 3 -- The ability for a single person to move thousands of pounds of materials easily and efficiently is now possible with the Haulz-All(TM) pre-packaged accessory power drive system from ASI Technologies Inc.

Sold as a retrofit kit, Haulz-All(TM) converts any wheel-based human- powered cart, tool chest, wagon, mobile kiosk, or other device into an easy-to-maneuver, high-payload transporter for virtually every use -- industrial, commercial, or at-home.

Haulz-All(TM) enables up to six thousand pounds of materials to be moved safely and efficiently at an average speed of 1.65 miles-per-hour. (A maximum speed of four miles per hour is achievable; speed varies with weight of payload.) A re-chargeable battery system powers it for approximately 1.5 miles between charges.

"By `carrying' the bulk of the load, Haulz-All(TM) greatly reduces the risk of back strain and serious injury," said Darryl Berlinger, Vice President of Sales for ASI Technologies Inc. "Mechanics, builders, landscapers, laborers, consumers -- anyone with a project that requires moving heavy tools, merchandise or equipment -- will appreciate the enormous savings in time and wear-and-tear on the body.

"Haulz-All(TM) also increases efficiency," Mr. Berlinger noted. "For example, all tools or equipment that may be required for a job can be transported at one time, eliminating the need to fetch an errant item, and, more importantly, reducing errors caused by using the wrong tool when the right one isn't at hand."

The heart of Haulz-All(TM) is its drive system. Created by ASI Technologies Inc., a worldwide leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of electric drive systems, it features a patented transaxle and industrial-capacity PMDC traction motor that is mounted on a sealed gear drive system with integral differential. Two 24-Volt, 12.0-Amp-hour sealed lead- acid batteries power the unit.

Exceptional control over acceleration, deceleration, speed, power-down time, current limit and other parameters is achieved through the fully programmable, microprocessor-based controller. The operator interface/control panel mounts magnetically to one end of the transport device. In addition to the forward/reverse throttle, the control panel includes a charger port for the batteries, a battery gauge, and a 12-volt accessory jack for a cell phone, radio, laptop computer etc.

A dual brake system -- featuring dynamic and static braking -- is an important safety feature. The dynamic brake prevents the unit from exceeding a predetermined speed, even when coasting downhill, while the static brake, or automatic parking brake, automatically switches on when the unit stops.

While the standard unit is designed for use on smooth surfaces, it can be customized for use on uneven surfaces, such as unpaved roads, grass or gravel. (The payload is decreased when used on uneven surfaces.) Fully rust proofed, it is ideal for outdoor uses, such as construction and landscaping.

Haulz-All(TM) is sold as a retrofit kit for self-installation, which can be accomplished in under one hour with only a socket set and floor jack.

Haulz-All(TM) comes with a full one-year warranty on all parts, an instruction manual, and installation guidelines.
