Segway HTs Available for Purchase at NEVrland, Inc. in Celebration, Florida

MANCHESTER, N.H., April 3 -- Segway LLC announced today that NEVrland, Inc. has been selected as a sales representative of the Segway(TM) Human Transporter (HT). Starting this week, Segway HTs will be available for purchase by the general public at the NEVrland store in Celebration, Fla.

"The Segway HT is an extremely experiential product. As we work to expand the market for the Segway HT, it is imperative that consumers have access to the product and knowledgeable sales representatives in order to make an informed purchase decision," said Vern Loucks, CEO, Segway LLC. "NEVrland has a deep understanding of the market in Central Florida and a solid customer base for zero-emission transportation alternatives like Segway HTs, Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) and electric scooters."

Segway is establishing NEVrland as a retail sales location in Central Florida to make the Segway HT experience more accessible to consumers. As one of the first Segway HT Sales Representatives in the United States, NEVrland will provide interested customers test rides, product information and on site purchasing, product orientation, delivery and warranty service for Segway HTs. Segway HT i series models, and accompanying accessories, will be available for purchase by consumers while e series models will be available to commercial customers.
