Hyundai Sales for March Set New Record
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., April 1 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 38,291 vehicles for the month of March, setting a new record for the month. March sales increased 20.3 percent over last year and 39 percent over the previous month. "In challenging times such as these auto buyers are looking for value. We are cautiously optimistic that the U.S. auto market will remain steady," said Robert Cosmai, vice-president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America.
"Sales of the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle set an all-time record with sales of 11,293 units. In addition, Elantra, Sonata, Tiburon and XG350 finished ahead of last March's sales levels.
"All Hyundai vehicles sold in the U.S. are also covered by the The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty which includes the outstanding 10-year/100,000 Powertrain Warranty," Cosmai said.
