Profile Systems to Provide Technical Support For AAIA PartnerShip Network

    WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--April 1, 2003--

Selected by Auto Industry Association to Support Installation and Training for Web-based Industry EDI Application

Profile Systems is pleased to announce that the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has selected Profile Systems to support installation and training for its recently released PartnerShip Network(TM) business document communications solution for the Industry.
The PartnerShip Network, developed by O'Reilly Auto Parts in cooperation with the AAIA, is a communications gateway for trading partners in the automotive aftermarket to securely transfer business documents over the Internet. The application is already installed and in production with some of the Industry's leading trading partners including Cardone Industries, Dana Brake and Chassis, Gates Rubber, O'Reilly and others with testing underway with many more.
"We chose Profile Systems and their proven delivery model for software support after a careful selection and review process," said Scott Luckett, AAIA's vice president for information technology and project development, "Profile's demonstrated commitment to the Automotive Aftermarket and leadership in the development of standards and solutions for industry data exchange will serve PartnerShip Network users well."
The PartnerShip Network addresses the escalating costs of business communications by placing software for "pitching" and "catching" business documents over the Internet between authorized trading partners. "EDI communications costs between our companies have gone from thousands of dollars per month to zero," according to Mike Williams, vice president of information technology for O'Reilly Auto Parts, "and at the same time, security and reliability have been every bit as good as what we expect from a value-added network."
"Profile Systems is pleased to be in a position to assist Aftermarket manufacturers and their trading partners to lower their overall costs for transacting business," stated Ed Mallen, president and CEO of Profile Systems, "AAIA, O'Reilly Auto Parts and the PartnerShip team should be congratulated for bringing this important technology to the industry."
