ATX Continues Growth, Establishes ATX Europe GmbH

DALLAS and FORT WORTH, Texas, March 28 -- ATX, the leading independent telematics service provider to the automotive industry, announced today its Board of Directors approved the creation of a European subsidiary.

"Establishment of ATX Europe, GmbH, is a reflection of the company's continued success and drive to maintain a vehicle-centric focus," said Steve Millstein, ATX president and chief executive officer. "ATX's European operations will meet the growing needs of our customers to provide telematics services on a trans-Atlantic basis."

In North America, ATX provides telematics services to European-based automotive manufacturers Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Jaguar.

ATX's expansion plans into Europe include the development of a call center and data center with information technology, marketing and customer service operations. ATX anticipates its European headquarters will be located in or near Dusseldorf, Germany. ATX Europe will initially have approximately 60 to 70 employees.
