Delphi Receives Toyota Recognition for Quality and Delivery

TROY, Mich., March 26 -- Delphi Corp. was recognized for meeting Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America's (TMMNA) quality and delivery standards at the 2003 TMMNA Annual Business Meeting & Awards Ceremony in Covington, Ky. TMMNA presented Delphi with two awards and two certificates for meeting its targets in quality and/or delivery.

"To be recognized by TMMNA with such a distinguished award is truly an honor and speaks to Delphi's high standards for quality and delivery," said Jim Damratoski, Delphi's regional customer manager for Toyota North America. Delphi divisions receiving awards and certificates of achievement for meeting TMMNA's targets included:

* Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems - Excellence Award for Quality and Delivery for the batteries it supplies from its Anaheim, Calif. facility;

* Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems - Excellence Award for Quality for the radiators it supplies from the Lockport, N.Y. facility;

* Delphi Packard Electric Systems - Certificate for Quality for the sensors it supplies from its Warren, Ohio facility.

In addition to being honored for its quality and delivery excellence, Delphi also received a certificate for exceeding Toyota's Minority Tier II Sourcing goal of 5 percent.
