Shaltz Fluid Power Inc. Replaces Multiple Legacy Systems With One, Seamless Distribution Solution from Microsoft Business Solutions and MaxQ Technologies

    DETROIT--March 25, 2003--MaxQ Technologies, Inc. (MaxQ) today announced that Shaltz Fluid Power Inc., a leading distributor of fluid power components & systems, will implement a combined Microsoft Business Solutions' and MaxQ CEP Solutions for Distribution. Shaltz has selected Microsoft's Solomon product line and CEP Solutions' Supply Chain Management, Vendor Managed Inventory, and eProphet Sales Analysis to handle its core business processes, replacing various legacy systems with a single comprehensive solution.
    Knowing that Tier One solutions were too costly, Shaltz considered a number of other software options -- including Prelude, Profit21 and NxTrend but ultimately chose Solomon and CEP Solutions. Shaltz indicated that the key reasons for their selection were the solution's ability to meet specific needs and MaxQ's ability to understand those needs.
