Madison Motorsports Expands to New Location - Store Opens March 25, 2003
MADISON, Wis.--March 25, 2003--The lack of snow this winter has contributed to a slow tourism season for Wisconsin, but that hasn't deterred entrepreneurs Steve and Judy Parker from expanding and relocating Madison Motorsports, their motorcycle and ATV store. Madison Motorsports is joining forces with Joe and Karen Puccio, owners of Motorcycle Solutions, to expand their retail store and tire shop to now include a full-service repair and installation shop. The new store is located at 2613 S. Stoughton Road and opens March 25, 2003."We are excited about expanding our business to better serve our customers," Steve Parker said. "We've always wanted to offer full-service repair, and partnering with Motorcycle Solutions will take our service to the next level."
The new location, a free-standing building with plenty of parking, offers a showroom to display used motorcycles and ATVs. Madison Motorsports has a vast selection of aftermarket parts for motorcycle and ATV enthusiasts, including specialized accessories, tires, luggage, clothing, helmets and gloves. With a selection of vehicles on display in the showroom, service professionals can also demonstrate how accessories fit. A wider selection of parts and a full service department are benefits of the new location.
The full-service repair and installation department, an alternative to pricey dealership service, is operated by Motorcycle Solutions. The owner, Joe, has been a service technician for over 20 years and has worked for major dealerships. Motorcycle Solutions is equipped to work on motorcycles, ATVs and off-road bikes of all kinds, including domestic, European and Asian models. It specializes in tune-ups, tire installations, performance parts installation, oil changes, brake work and engine repair.
Personalized customer service is just one of the many reasons Madison Motorsports customers are drawn to the store. It's known as a neutral gathering place where brand-loyal customers can convene no matter what their vehicle preference. Judy and Steve's love of all motorcycles and ATV's is so appreciated, in fact, that the riding enthusiast clubs that they often serve helped out with the move.
Madison Motorsports expects to serve an even larger customer base with the store expansion because there is increasing demand for ATVs and motorcycles. With such little snowfall this season, many consumers are opting for ATVs, which do not require a heavy snowfall to use, as a popular alternative for winter sports. ATVs are growing in popularity because of their versatility in all types of weather conditions and their widespread appeal to families. Cruiser motorcycles are another type of recreational vehicle that is growing in popularity with the older generation of riders because they offer more comfort than sport bikes.
Madison Motorsports was founded in Madison in January 1998. For more information, call Judy Parker at 608.221.1000 or visit www.madisonmotorsports.com.
