Autobytel Expands Relationship With Yahoo! Autos
IRVINE, Calif.--March 25, 2003--Autobytel Inc. has expanded its relationship with Yahoo! Autos by providing a range of new automotive images and research information for the site's newly enhanced make and model pages. The new automotive data, provided by Autobytel's Automotive Information Center (AIC), deepens Autobytel's long-standing relationship with Yahoo! Autos and provides their consumers with an even more enjoyable, information-rich vehicle research experience.
Yahoo! Autos' consumers will benefit from AIC's comprehensive vehicle information and images -- providing a faster, easier and more complete research and shopping process. Specifically, Yahoo! Autos will now feature AIC's AutoSpecs Database, which provides access to hundreds of data points on the majority of new cars and trucks sold in the United States -- including rebates and incentives, vehicle specifications, options, features, pricing, warranty information, safety and performance information, and vehicle color swatches. Autobytel is also providing a customized version of AIC's AutoGallery(TM) vehicle-viewing tool, which enables shoppers to view up to 19 interior and exterior digital photos of every new car and truck on the market, as well as an A-to-Z Maintenance and Repair Guide.
"We're proud of our ongoing relationship with Yahoo!, and look forward to continuing to work together to maintain Yahoo! Autos' position as a premier automotive research destination," said Andrew Donchak, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Autobytel Inc.
"Our goal is to provide our consumers with the most sophisticated content and research capabilities that we know are critical to the overall new vehicle researching and buying process," said Travis Bowie, senior producer of Yahoo! Autos. "The expansion of our relationship with Autobytel will improve the breadth, depth and quality of the new car information on Yahoo! Autos, and is a testament to our unwavering commitment to provide consumers with the very best new car research experience online."
