ADVISORY/Tecnomatix to Introduce Most Comprehensive PCB Assembly, Test and Documentation Product at APEX Press Conference

    NASHUA, N.H.--March 25, 2003--Tecnomatix Technologies, Ltd. will host a press conference at APEX, the electronics assembly industry's premier technical show, to introduce an innovative new product in its family of proven electronics manufacturing process management (MPM) solutions.
    The press conference will be led by Matt Wuensch, senior director of product marketing for Tecnomatix Unicam, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tecnomatix Technologies. Steve Clouther, vice president of ARC Advisory Group, will speak on the topic: "The Importance of MPM Within the Collaborative Manufacturing (CMM) Model." This exciting event is open to all members of the press.

    The new product, which will formally be unveiled at the press conference, is a major upgrade to the company's time-tested assembly and test solutions, featuring industry-exclusive new features that will enable electronics manufacturers to increase productivity, reduce costs and easily transfer and share jobs between different plants, seamlessly integrating into manufacturers' business processes.

-- Quality Process Improvement - April 1, 2003, 1:30-3:00 pm Sharron Lifshitz, vice president, electronics, Tecnomatix Unicam, Inc., will present a session on Manufacturing Process Management: Facilitating Stage Three of Manufacturing Outsourcing. Lifshitz will discuss how, through all stages of manufacturing, a Box Build (Final Assembly) solution should reduce costs, accelerate time-to-market and time-to-volume, and improve communication throughout the extended enterprise, while creating organizational memory and retaining the company's intellectual property.
-- Production Tracking - April 2, 2003, 9:00-10:30 am John Nelson, director of research and development, Tecnomatix Unicam, Inc., will present on process, resource and component traceability in SMT Manufacturing. Nelson will discuss how traceability systems enable companies to better control the quality and performance of their manufacturing processes in a mixed-vendor environment, resulting in improved customer satisfaction through fewer defects in delivered product and increased profits for the organization.
