OESA Announces April Trade Mission to China
TROY, Mich., March 20 -- The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) announces a trade mission to China, designed to assist OESA member companies establish business contacts in China as suppliers explore opportunities to source or produce products in the Chinese market. The mission will coincide with Auto Shanghai 2003 and the China Business Update (CBU) 8th Annual Conference on Doing Business in China.
OESA is a 313-member trade association representing the interests of automotive original equipment suppliers. OESA provides a forum for suppliers to address issues of common interest and serves as a resource and a voice for the industry.
"OESA members expressed interest in a trade mission to China during the recent OESA half-day session, Business Opportunities in China," said Neil De Koker, president of OESA. "The OESA program includes an executive tour of OEM-Shanghai-GM Automobile, Delphi, International Battery, Shanghai GKN Driveshaft Co., Ltd. and Yanfeng-Visteon Interior Trim Co., Ltd. The event also features meetings with OEMs and suppliers currently producing products in the Chinese market."
Wayne Xing, editor and publisher, China Business Update, is assisting the OESA with the Chinese mission.
Representatives will visit operations in Shanghai and Beijing while in China.

The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) provides a strategic forum for the automotive industry's original equipment suppliers. Membership encompasses suppliers of components, modules, systems, materials, and equipment used by the original equipment automotive industry.
