ArvinMeritor to Supply Shock Absorbers for Hyundai Motors Commercial Vehicles

LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 19 -- ArvinMeritor's Commercial Vehicle Systems' (CVS) business has signed an agreement with Hyundai Motor Company to supply shock absorbers for its medium- and heavy-duty trucks, effective immediately. The shock absorbers will be manufactured at the company's Ride Control facility, located in Toronto, Ont., Canada.

  
  The announcement was made here today at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

The company will supply rear primary suspension shock absorbers for Hyundai's 6 x 4 and 6 x 2 tractors, 8 x 4 dump trucks and 10 x 4 25T cargo vocational trucks built in Chonju, South Korea.
