ArvinMeritor's Ride Control Products Named Preferred Supplier by PACCAR
LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 19 -- ArvinMeritor announced today that its Commercial Vehicle Systems' (CVS) Ride Control group has been named a Preferred Supplier by PACCAR Inc., a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty on- and off-road Class 6-8 trucks. The award signifies a superior level of quality in business processes and products delivered for both OEM production and aftermarket distribution and is bestowed upon suppliers who demonstrate and maintain an extremely high level of proficiency.
The award was presented to the ArvinMeritor team here, during that company's press update at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

The company began supplying PACCAR with shock absorbers, which are manufactured and distributed at the company's Toronto, Ont., Canada, facility, in the early 1970s, beginning with Kenworth trucks. Currently, the company supplies ride control products for Kenworth, Kenmex and Peterbilt vehicles in North America and Australia, as well as for Leyland Trucks Inc. in the UK and DAF in The Netherlands.
