Opal-RT Technologies Announces New Customer for RT-Lab

Delphi Delco Electronics Systems to Pilot Engineering Simulators; RT-LAB provides Real-time multiprocessing environment for ECU testing with Hardware-in-the-Loop

MONTREAL, March 18 -- Opal-RT Technologies Inc. (www.opal-rt.com ), the world leader in distributed simulation on PC-based platforms, today announced that Delphi Delco Electronics Systems has selected RT-LAB Engineering Simulators for use in the company's current efforts to define next-generation standard powertrain ECU development and prototyping tools, including programmable testers.

Delphi Delco will utilize RT-LAB Engineering Simulators in a pilot program for this critical stage in the ECU development process. If the pilot is successful, Delphi Delco forecast plans call to install as many as 60 programmable testers, based on RT-LAB Engineering Simulators, over the next three years.

"Through its extensive experience with Powertrain testing and ECU development, Delphi Delco has positioned itself as a leader in mobile electronics systems design, providing innovative solutions to major vehicle manufacturers throughout the world," said Paul Goossens Vice President of Marketing at Opal-RT Technologies. "Delphi's expertise has allowed them to lead the industry in emerging technology development, while maintaining a focus on refining existing technologies. This pilot program is no exception"
