FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BARBER WINS SHORTENED ZETEC CHAMPIONSHIP RACE

SEBRING, FLA. (March 14, 2003) –Westley Barber, of Saffron Walden, England,
won Round Two of the 2003 Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship at Sebring
International Raceway, after it was halted due to weather on lap four.
Completing the top-three was Tony Loniewski, of Michigan City, Mich., and
Charlie Kimball, of Camarillo, Calif. Chris Dona, of Sandown, N.H., won the
American Continental Championship class.

Under dark and overcast skies, 26 Zetec Championship cars rolled on to the
3.7-mile road course to begin the pace lap. By midway through the lap it had
begun to rain, with a great deal of lightning. As Barber, driving the No. 3
Sunoco Cape Motorsports Van Diemen Ford, took the green from the pole
position, it was raining heavily around the course. By turn three numerous
cars had spun off-course. At the end of the opening lap, Barber had a
sizeable lead over Loniewski, racing the No. 22 Lonici Rental/GNP Corsa
Group-J&J Racing Van Diemen Ford and Kimball, in the No. 91 Rentvillas.com
PR1 Motorsports Van Diemen Ford. For the next two laps it began to rain
harder, reducing visibility significantly. On lap four, the race was red
flagged due to the weather and two cars blocking the track. Following an
hour’s stoppage, the race was declared official, completing a perfect
weekend for Barber. Barber won both rounds of the doubleheader, captured
both pole positions and led every lap. For capturing both wins, Barber was
awarded $10,000 in prize money.

Completing the top-five was Lawson Aschenbach, of Gaithersburg, Md., in the
No. 2 King Automotive/M&M Welding PR1 Motorsports, who started fifth and A.
Prendeville, of Morristown, N.J., in the No. 25 TCW/Valvoline Andersen Walko
Racing Van Diemen Ford, who started in 10th.
