Orbit Racing - Sebring qualifying change

2003 12 Hours of Sebring - Thursday 2

The No. 43 YES Network Porsche of Orbit Racing will start from the back of
the grid for the 12 Hours of Sebring, after the car's qualifying time was
disallowed in post-qualifying technical inspection. Marc Lieb had qualified
the car second in the GT class.

Orbit Racing technical director Tim Munday explained: "We're very
disappointed because Marc had an incredible qualifying run and we were
looking forward to starting second on the grid. Unfortunately, a crack in
the wing mount caused the wing to move from a compliant position to a
non-compliant position that was unstable. It's sad that our driver who truly
deserves to be at the front is sitting at the back. But it's a compliment to
Marc's driving skills that even with a broken wing mount, he was able to
qualify second."
