Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship Practice Notes from Sebring

Wednesday Practice Notes at Sebring

- The 51st running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring commenced
Wednesday.
- The Zetec Championship is running in conjunction with the American Le Mans
Series and racing for the 15th and 16th time at Sebring international
raceway.
- The Zetec Championship commenced it's 30-minute practice session under
ideal conditions at 8:00 a.m.
- Early on several cars posted quicker times than at the end of testing on
Tuesday.
- No. 97 Hodges was reported to be leaking fluid. late in the session No. 97
pulled off course.
- No. 10 Kapudija was reported to be going slow in the session. The team
reported that the driver had loss use of fourth gear.
- Late in the session, No. 19 Festa struck the wall, damaging the rear wing
and a corner. The team expected to have the car repaired for qualifying
later in the day.
- At the conclusion of the session, No. 3 Barber and No. 9 Kasemets had
posted times faster than the qualifying record set last year, while the
entire top-10 had posted laps faster than the race record set last year.
- The 30-minute qualifying session for Thursday's 14-lap race begins at 2:00
p.m.
