Metaldyne Names Pestow Chairman of New Technical Council

PLYMOUTH, Mich., March 12 -- Metaldyne today announced that Chuck Pestow, the company's vice president of sales and marketing, has taken on additional responsibilities as chairman of its newly created Technical Council.

In this new role, Pestow is responsible for leading and facilitating the exchange of communication, commercial technical opportunities and best practices between the engineering leadership of Metaldyne's global product groups. In addition, he and the council will develop a process to encourage patents and technical innovation; establish standards for a common Metaldyne engineering approach; and promote and develop technical capabilities within Metaldyne through customer technical presentations, industry trade shows and technical papers.

"Under Chuck's leadership, the Technical Council will play an important role as we continue to emphasize and promote Metaldyne's technical and engineering capabilities to our current and future customers," said Tim Leuliette, Metaldyne's chairman, president and CEO.
