Federal-Mogul Continues Unprecedented 16-Year Run as JASPER Preferred Partner

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 10 -- Sweet Sixteen.

That's how many consecutive years Federal-Mogul Corporation has won the prestigious Preferred Partner Award from Jasper Engines & Transmissions -- one of its largest automotive replacement parts customers.

The award was presented recently during Jasper Engines & Transmissions' 16th Annual Preferred Partners Banquet near its headquarters in Jasper, Indiana. Federal-Mogul is the only company to win the award every year since its inception. This year, JASPER presented the award to seven of its 3,200 suppliers -- just two-tenths of 1 percent of its total supply base.

Recipients are nominated by a purchaser within the JASPER organization and are judged on quality, service, fill rate, response time to a problem, and billing/credit procedures, among other criteria. Judging takes place by JASPER associates who use the nominees' products and services.
