Nissan North America Reports February Sales

GARDENA, Calif.--March 3, 2003--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported February total sales of 51,225 units for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 12.2 percent decrease versus February of last year. INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS <ul><li>Infiniti, the luxury division of NNA, saw its best February ever with sales of 7,933 units<li>Infiniti sales are up 57.7 percent from last February as a result of an expanding product line including the G35 Sedan, G35 Coupe, M45, and FX45.<li>The all new 2003 Infiniti FX45 SUV completed its first full month with sales of 1,575 units </ul> NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS <ul><li>Nissan-brand sales for February totaled 43,292 units, an 18.8 percent decrease from last February<li>Altima continues strong sales in the mid-size sedan segment with 14,216 units sold, a 3.8 percent decrease in calendar year-to-date sales from the previous year </ul> NNA INFORMATION <ul><li>Combined February sales for Nissan and Infiniti totaled 51,225 units, a 12.2 percent decrease versus last year<li>Sales of NNA's North American-produced vehicles for February totaled 30,254, representing 52.3 percent of all NNA vehicles sold in the United States </ul> In North America, NNA's operations include automotive styling, engineering, consumer and corporate financing, sales and marketing, distribution and manufacturing.
