Pohanka Automotive Group Purchases Stronghold DealerAdvance(TM) For Four Dealership Sites
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J., March 4 -- Stronghold Technologies, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SGHT) has received a commitment from Pohanka Acura and Pohanka Chevrolet in Chantilly, Virginia, and Pohanka Auto Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia, to purchase Stronghold's DealerAdvance Sales Solution(TM) wireless technology. Pohanka Auto Center consists of two dealership sites that include Honda, Nissan, Cadillac, Hyundai and Oldsmobile.
"The combined value of the three-year contracts for these dealers, the first in the Washington, D.C. area to adopt DealerAdvance, is approximately $400,000. More than 50 dealerships around the country are using the technology, realizing sales increases of five to 15 percent and time savings of 30 to 45 minutes per car deal," said Chris Carey, Stronghold's chief executive officer.
Stronghold's DealerAdvance is a complete wireless solution that delivers guaranteed sales performance for the retail automotive industry. The system consists of special software with Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), allowing car dealers to record, communicate and access customer, sales and inventory information in real time.
