NEC Business Network Solutions Deploys Advanced Telephony Solutions to UnitedAuto Group's Chauncey Ranch Complex
IRVING, Texas--March 4, 2003--NEC Business Network Solutions, Inc. (NEC BNS), a leading systems integrator and NEC America's direct sales and service organization, announced today that it has deployed a comprehensive communications network for UnitedAuto Group's West Region Chauncey Ranch complex of dealerships.
To maximize resources, create the most efficient call processing and provide the highest level of customer service to its clientele who purchase premium automobiles including Porsche, BMW, Mini, Audi, Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Volvo Lincoln-Mercury, Acura, and Volkswagon. UnitedAuto's West Region selected NEC BNS to design an extensive network for its new Chauncey Ranch complex located in North Scottsdale, Arizona.

Utilizing the latest in NEC technology, NEC BNS created a network comprised of two NEAX(R) 2400 Internet Protocol eXchanges (IPX's) and deployed NEC's Common Channel Inter-Office Signaling (CCIS) throughout the Chauncey Ranch complex. CCIS and Fusion Networking (FCCS) provide high-level feature transparency for seamless communication between all dealerships, resulting in reduced labor and training costs and higher customer service satisfaction. In addition, NEC BNS installed Centralized Attendant Services, Unified Messaging, Network Management and Redundancy for all dealerships.
