Moldflow Announces New Manufacturing Track and Panel Discussion at 2003 International User Group Conference
WAYLAND, Mass.--Feb. 28, 2003--Moldflow Corporation , the world's leading provider of software products and services for optimizing the design and manufacture of injection-molded plastic products, today announces a new Manufacturing Track and panel discussions at its upcoming International User Group Conference commencing April 1, 2003 at the Westin Conference Center in Pittsburgh, PA. The event will feature keynote speakers Brian Jones, president of Nypro, a leading global provider of precision injection molding and related manufacturing solutions; and Dr. Phil Coates, professor of polymer engineering and associate director of the interdisciplinary research center in polymer science and technology at the University of Bradford, UK, a leading plastics university involved in the research and development of the technologies we use today and will use in the future. Mr. Jones' presentation is titled "Implementing the Lean Enterprise Globally," and Dr. Coates will discuss "The Dream Machine - Process and Product Measurements for Enhanced Process, Understanding, Modeling, and Control."This year's conference will include a new Manufacturing Track featuring topics of interest specific to users of Moldflow Manufacturing Solutions technology. In addition, new panel discussions have been designed to create a dialog between Moldflow and its users in an effort to increase mutual understanding of product usage and to drive enhancement requests for future product releases. The two new panels include an "Ask the Expert" panel which will allow attendees to query Moldflow experts regarding plastics challenges and a "Tips and Techniques" panel to facilitate the sharing of methodologies and expertise among attendees.
