Former GM Executive Richard Donnelly Joins Capstone Turbine Board

    CHATSWORTH, Calif.--Feb. 27, 2003--Richard Donnelly, a former executive with General Motors Corporation (www.gm.com) has been named to the board of directors of Capstone Turbine Corporation (www.microturbine.com) .
    Donnelly is the Automotive Industrial Partner at the New York based Ripplewood Holdings LLC, a firm with more than $4 billion invested in a range of automotive, manufacturing, banking, chemical and technology industries. In that role, Donnelly leads the global automotive supplier practice that builds presence in the auto parts industry through acquisition.
    Donnelly joined Ripplewood in 1999 following a 38-year career with GM that spanned executive positions including Vice-President & Group Executive for Manufacturing and Quality for International Operations, President of GM Europe, Vice President & Founding Group Executive of GM Powertrain, and the GM Production System Executive Director.
