SAE Courses Accepted For Walsh College Master's Degree
TROY, Mich., Feb. 27 -- Walsh College President Keith Pretty has announced a new partnership with the Society of Automotive Engineers. Beginning with the fall, 2003 semester, Walsh may accept SAE's business and management related courses towards advanced standing credit in its new Master of Science in Managing Manufacturing Operations or its redesigned Master of Science in Management degree.
"The SAE/Walsh collaboration is a stellar example of the college's emphasis on integrated programming with business and professional groups. We are pleased to include new opportunities to the engineering community and to foster education that helps engineers become business leaders," said Pretty.
Graduate level classes are offered in the evenings in Troy and Novi and online, and Walsh College may accept SAE courses that were completed as far back as five years ago, giving many SAE students a head start. SAE regularly offers a full schedule of seminars and academies at its nearby Professional Engineering Education Center in Troy and at many SAE conferences nationwide.
Walsh College representatives will be on hand at the SAE Congress on the DO Level of Cobo Hall. Interested engineers may apply for admission on site, online at www.walshcollege.edu , by calling 1 800 WALSH 01 or walk in Wednesdays at any campus location for express admissions.
