L.A. Marathon 'Quality of Life' Expo Features Honda Products That Support the Lifestyles of Active & Environmentally Conscious Consumers

  - Honda's FCX Showcases Technology Expected to Reduce Harmful Vehicle
                  Emissions and U.S. Dependence on Oil -

   WHAT:                Honda's top-of-the-line vehicles and products will
                        be featured at the L.A. Marathon's "Quality of Life"
                        Expo, which showcases the latest in lifestyle
                        improvements and technology to more than
                        80,000 consumers expected to attend.  Vehicles to be
                        displayed include the pre-production hydrogen-fueled
                        Honda FCX, the Honda Element and pre-production
                        Acura TSX.  The unique looking Ruckus scooter,
                        personal watercraft, fuel-efficient generators,
                        lawnmowers and other power products will also be
                        exhibited.  All of the Honda products at the Expo
                        reflect the company's commitment to developing high-
                        performance, environmentally responsible products
                        that improve the quality of life for consumers.

   VISUAL HIGHLIGHTS:
      -- Honda FCX (fuel cell vehicle)
               The FCX is the world's first fuel cell vehicle to be
               certified for everyday use by the California Air Resources
               Board (CARB) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
               Revolutionary technology allows the FCX to power its motor
               with electricity generated from a hydrogen-oxygen chemical
               reaction.  The FCX's acceleration is similar to a Honda Civic
               and with a range of up to 170 miles and seating for four
               people, it is a practical vehicle for today's world.

      -- Honda Element
               The Element is geared toward an active, outdoor lifestyle.
               It combines the best features of a pickup truck with the best
               features of a SUV, and adds a dorm room-like setting for a
               comfortable feel.
